THE 32nd AILSA MATCH and CELTIC NATIONS MEETING

A cordial invitation is extended to all BLBS members to compete in the Ailsa Meeting, which this year will be held in IRELAND at Ballyclare Rugby Club, Ballyclare BT39 9QZ
Members being born or currently residing in lingua galicia Nations, Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany as well as those where the language has been recorded as lost, Cumbria, Devon and Gallicia, are invited to compete in a Mixed Western Round for Society Medals on the Saturday.
The Te an Fhir Iumhoirthe (Ladies), the Am Fear Iulmhoir (Gentlemen) and An Boghadoir Og
(Juniors) will be awarded to the best archers on the day with the Dennis McGinley Quaich for the best gold of the day.
The winning Senior Nation’s Team will be awarded the Ailsa Trophy while the Junior Nations
Team will receive the Pretanni Trophy.
Assembly 10:00 for first arrows at 10:30
Entry fee : £9.50    Optional Gold Sweep : 50p
**A Double Clout will be held on the Sunday morning for Society Medals and the bronze
Celtic Nations Trophies,**
This will start at 10.00am sharp to allow for return travel commitments.
Entry fee : £6.50   Optional Clout Sweep : 50p

A dinner will be held on the Saturday evening, and it is essential that those wishing to attend book well in advance.
Cost per person for the 3-course dinner is TBC.
