SUMMARY:THE JOHN GELDARD MEMORIAL MEETING
DESCRIPTION:The Society is pleased to offer this meeting within our Events Guide\, in celebration and recognition of one of the Society’s great Champion Archers. The meeting will be held on the shooting grounds of John’s club\, Samlesbury Longbow Archers at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club\, Lightfoot Lane\, Fulford\, Lancashire\, PR4 0AP \nJohn was the Society’s Gentlemen’s Champion for many years and his scores for the York round were impressive. He was certainly a man to beat and\, at his peak\, was almost unbeatable.
